Art Room Gallery received entries from many countries around the world:USA, Germany, Canada, France, Australia, Japan, Netherlands, United Kingdom, China, Poland, Kuwait, Latvia, Sweden, Switzerland, Hong Kong. The Nature theme in this competition included a diversity in types, styles and mediums (oil on canvas, acrylic, photography, mixed media, digital, collage, charcoal, watercolor, drawing, colored pencil).

The following evaluation criteria has been used for judging the artwork: creativity, interpretation of the theme, originality and quality of art, overall design, demonstration of artistic ability, and usage of medium. Jury decided to select 149 artworks for inclusion in the exhibition. Aside from First. Second, and Third place Jury also presented Merit awards and Honorable Mention awards.

“ Amazon Libre ”, A tripych painted after seen media broadcasts and natives from my country of birth Peru, protesting against oil companies in the Amazon jungle, and the way they exploited our natural resources without any care for the environment; the oils spills contaminating rivers, the legal and ilegal mining, together with deforestation that are affecting its popualtion, flora and fauna, without realising the importance of the environmental conservation and protection of it, for the survival of humanity.

Currently, the native population in the whole world is about 5%, these indigenous people are protecting the 82% of the world's biodiversity risking ther lives, being hunted and killed by predators of our mother earth.

Predators (including some governments, international and national companies together with ilegal local exploiters) say there is too much land for too little natives, but in reality is that, there is too little natives protecting life for the whole world to survive.

The power of life is in nature. Save life! Save the world !
